Whether you are looking for a better career or just looking to sharpen your Perl skills, our all-day Perl 101: Introduction to Perl Programming and Perl 201: Advanced Concepts in Perl Programming classes hold the keys to success. In just one day you'll hear lots of great information you can use to become a more productive Perl programmer.
Our seminars are typically held on Saturdays so they don't interfere with your work schedule. Class size is kept small so you have lots of one-on-one time with the instructor. And each workshop includes no fewer than twelve (12) lab exercises, which you do right there in the class, to put your new knowledge to work immediately!

What You Get
You will receive the following materials when you attend our seminars:
- A binder containing a printed copy of the course materials (slides).
- A CD-ROM containing slides, lab solutions, and template files used in lab exercises.
- A signed certificate of completion.
Classroom Facilities
When you come to our class you can expect to find:
- A classroom or conference room with seating for all attendees.
- A whiteboard, flip chart, or equivalent for instructor to illustrate concepts.
- Projector or equivalent for instructor to display courseware slides.
- A workstation (usually a laptop computer running Linux) dedicated for you to do lab exercises, with Perl and a suitable text editor available. Or you may use your own laptop computer; if you choose this option please let us know in advance.
- Appropriate refreshments (water, snacks, etc.).
- Lunch is not provided, but you may bring your own or go to a nearby restaurant during the lunch break.
Rates & Terms
Our prices and terms for seminars are as follows:
- Early bird discount per class available for most classes when you sign up and pay 15 days prior to the class.
- Package discount available for multiple class discounts (for example, taking Perl 101: Introduction to Perl Programming and Perl 201: Advanced Concepts in Perl Programming together).
- 10% group discount (for each person) when you sign up together for one class.
- Other discounts may be available for unemployed (subject to verification) or if you work for a non-profit organization - ask for details.
- Combining discounts: Discounts may not be combined, except that the early bird discount may be combined with either the multiple-class discount or the group discount.
- Forms of payment accepted include PayPal (including by credit card), checks, money orders, or cash. We can invoice your employer with a purchase order if needed.
- Payment is due in full at time of registration and must be received prior to start of class. See our Ordering page for details.
- Refunds: full refund available if you cancel at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class; after that date, you will receive credit toward a future class only.
- Minimum Class Size: most classes have a minimum class size of three (3) people. We reserve the right to cancel a class if the minimum enrollment is not met. If this should occur you will be given the choice of a full refund or transferring your enrollment to a class on a later date.
- After the Class: instructor will answer any questions by e-mail relating to the course material for up to six (6) months. Or meet one-on-one for further help with our coaching service.
